CSU Biochemistry Lecture on Vampires Canceled Due to Weather, Likely to be Rescheduled

FORT COLLINS - Weather has caused Colorado State University biochemistry students to cancel today's talk about genetic disorders and environmental conditions from the Victorian era through modern times that have led to the popular myths behind vampires, witches and zombies.

The university will suspend operations at 2 p.m. today because of weather. The biochemistry lecture is likely to be rescheduled.

Kristopher Hite and Nick Clark had planned to talk about chemical reactions caused by genetic disorders and external factors in the environment that most likely led to the stories behind some of Halloween’s most notorious mythical figures.
