Media Advisory: Colorado State Students Present Exhibits to Fort Collins Museum and Discover Science Center Nov. 16

FORT COLLINS - WHAT: Colorado State University students in a Department of Anthropology class are learning about historical and contemporary lives of Native Americans and are bringing the classroom knowledge to the Fort Collins Museum and Discovery Science Center. The students will be presenting their information to the Fort Collins Museum and Discovery Science Center, and to members of the Department of Anthropology and College of Liberal Arts.
WHEN: 1-2 p.m. Nov. 16.
WHERE: Lory Student Center Room 213-215.
DETAILS: As part of the Indians of North America course, CSU students are working with the Fort Collins Museum and Discovery Science Center to reinterpret ethnographic, archaeological and historical data in relation to the Native Americans that lived and still do live in Fort Collins and surrounding areas.
Students are working to find more information and in some cases reinterpret current information on collections and present interpretive programs that will be useful for the museum in creating informative and engaging exhibits for the public.
