Feature Story Image

CSU's Veterinary Teaching Hospital will honor pets that have passed on

Note to Reporters: The event is not open to the public, but reporters may attend. Reporters in attendance are asked to be respectful of participants who have suffered losses. Dr. Jane Shaw, assistant professor of Veterinary Communication and director of the Argus Institute, will be available at the event to answer questions.

What/When:

The Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital will honor animals, big and small, that have passed away at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23 in the Animal Cancer Center, Room 118/120.

Details:

This annual event serves to honor the furry lives that have touched the hearts of the CSU community. The event will feature a formal program, including a slideshow of pet photos, followed by a reception. Guests are also free to roam the Path of Honor, a walkway of engraved stones dedicated to pets, and reflect on the lives that have impacted their lives.

The event is sponsored by the university’s Argus Institute, a service designed to assist hospital clients through tough decision-making regarding their pet’s health.
